Willeke Wendrich.

  1. Hypermedia Berlin (Todd Presner, Germanic) has been awarded one of the Copenhaver Awards this year.
  2. UCLA Encyclopedia of Egyptology (Willeke Wendrich and Jacco Dieleman) were awarded a Faculty Grant in International and Regional Studies to support a conference about the encyclopedia that will be held at UCLA on March 22-25th. (Editorial Note: next deadline for these grants will be April 15th, 2006)
  3. UDHIG website. The temporary location is http://projects.cdh.ucla.edu/udhig/ . We are creating content, and will be filling in the project gallery next.
  4. Overview of projects this year: Willeke provided a brief overview of the projects that will be undertaken this year. The list is as follows:

Program

Stephen Davison, Hannah Walker, and Howard Batchelor each presented aspects of the Digital Library Program. Stephen provided an overview, Howard presented Virtual Collections, and Hannah presented eScholarship.
